WERONIKA RAZNA

SOUND

Weronika Razna is a Sydney based freelance sound engineer. She holds degree of Master of Arts in Sound Engineering from Frederic Chopin University of Music in Warsaw (PL) and a freelancer with passion for film - in both production and post-production stages. Her experience includes location sound and sound design/editing in the post-production of film, TV and multimedia projects. She also live sound mixer at the theatre.

Weronika’s main focus is on collaboration with film directors and visual artists as she loves shaping the story through sound from the very first script reading until the final re-recording. She describes her "total hands on" approach as the most creative and rewarding form of film sound work.

Weronika also freelance in specific elements, e.g. sfx and dialogue editing, sound design etc. and has strong studio experience (audiovisual and audio forms - editing, designing, mixing) as well as live mixing background (theatre and TV). Her interests also include field recordings. She has collaborated with or freelanced for such companies as Artcore Studio, Zgrywa Studio, TEDxSydney, Seymour Centre, Sonar Sound, Australian Museum.

FUN FACT:

“My life would not be complete without the two wheels! Despite my love for road trips (and sleeping in the van!) I go green and do not own a car (fact!) so riding a bike around the city is my trademark. And I absolutely love it!”
