Sound-how, is a diverse and inclusive platform for music and sound that outreaches to the wider community with our online programs and resources. As a platform for women, gender diverse, minorities and marginalised individuals, we can also facilitate your music and sound needs by connecting you to talented professionals, whilst championing diverse voices and inclusivity. Background
Sound-how was established by multi-award-winning composer, Anisha Thomas, who has been working in the music and film/tv industry for over a decade. Anisha has composed for a variety of international Film/TV screen productions. As a woman of colour within the music and film/tv industry, Anisha started Sound-how with the aim of providing better representation for underrepresented women and minorities.
Sound-how prides itself on providing world-class sound and music expertise as well as being a social enterprise, through their outreach and contributions to underrepresented minority groups and communities. Anisha is also often invited to give talks and masterclasses regarding her work as a minority screen music composer, having also been featured as a guest lecturer at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music (University of Sydney).
