Sound-how diversity, INCLUSION & SOCIAL OUTREACH INITIATIVES
Sound-how is a diverse team lead by Anisha Thomas, a woman of colour. At Sound-how, we take pride in representing artists who have been underrepresented in the arts industry. We want our activities at Sound-how to reflect a greater push for change.
Creating great music and sound is our undying promise. Being an enabler for diversity is where our heart lies and we want our activities at Sound-how to reflect that. We want to do everything we can to ensure equal opportunities, a better working environment in the arts industry, as well as using our successes to give back to our community.
OUR INITIATIVES TIMELINE
2021-onwards
Sound-how's outreach focuses on providing the wider community with anti-gatekeeping resources and talks, including some FREE ones, that enables composer and music creators to be industry ready and confident!
Our resources and masterclasses have also helped others in the entertainment, arts and tech industry such as filmmakers, sound designers, editors, game/app/xr developers and designers!

2018-2020
Sound-how seeks to support causes and organisations that focus on providing greater well-being and better opportunities for underrepresented individuals and communities.
Every 5th project Sound-how is commissioned to complete, 15% of client fees received will be given to a chosen organisation and cause.
